Joshua DuBois

Spiritual advisor to President Obama and the President’s “Pastor-in-Chief” according to TIME Magazine, Joshua DuBois was the youngest-ever head of a White House department when President Obama appointed him to be Executive Director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. DuBois led many of the White House’s signature community initiatives, including the President’s Fatherhood Initiative and the Interfaith Campus Challenge. President Obama has said that DuBois “turned the faith-based initiative around,” a sentiment echoed by religious leaders across the country. Joshua’s work with faith-based partnerships has been profiled in The New York Times, Washington PostWall Street Journal, CNN and elsewhere, and he now speaks, writes, teaches and is founder and CEO of a new social enterprise, Values Partnerships. Joshua also continues to advise leaders in government, business and the nonprofit sector on faith-based partnerships and religion in the public square
